参考までに、ビオラ・ダ・ガンバ製作工房などは胴体を組むことを一般的に「タイコ」つくりといっている。
太鼓も同じ仮組みの工程と構造から成り立っているからかなとも思い、製作を続ける。

参考までに、Anton MitteisのＣ字孔モデル サイズは以下である。
胴長：637mm
胴幅：MAX380mm
胴厚：98mm
弦長：667mm
したがって、筆者の 弦長が682mmはチェロとほぼ同様。
この点では、BASS GAMBAのガット弦が使え、しかもチェロ並のテンションで演奏可能なので筆者の楽器はモダンに近いといえる。
胴長は637mmでほぼ筆者のものと変わらない。
胴厚は筆者の方が厚みが十分あるので、重厚な音がするはずである。

アルペジョーネをチェロ サイズと比較

バイオリン工房、ハンス・ヨハンセン氏のウェブサイトにチェロの構造とサイズが紹介されている。
参考までに、この仕様に照らし合わせて、アルペジョーネを比較してみた。
結論からいうと、胴長（ボディサイズ）を基準にすると、筆者モデル・アルペジョーネ フルサイズ4/4
は、チェロの3/4サイズに匹敵する。
